Family Retreat at Forest Home is a place and time where families reconnect with God, each other and other families. This very special getaway is designed for pastors, ministry leaders and their families. It is a memorable, inspirational, and affordable vacation.
WHAT DO WE DO AT FAMILY RETREAT?
Do as little or as much as you want in our relaxed and organized environment. You will make new friends, eat great food, take in the beautiful outdoors, enjoy afternoon leisure, nap in your room, swim in the lake, play in the game room, hear inspiring and uplifting messages from God’s Word and find great activities for everyone including: kayaking, ropes course, fishing, softball and even riding the zip lines.
WHAT ABOUT THE MEALS?
Each meal is prepared for you and your family. From breakfast, lunch and dinner to the great desserts, you will love our delicious meals. No one goes away hungry from the day we arrive to the day we leave.
THE EXPERIENCE
Children’s activities are provided in the mornings and evenings (so parents can get a date night – up to 4 nights in a row)! As children take part in age-appropriate programs, parents are ministered to on topics ranging from marriage, parenting and healthy living. Parents and their children/teens will experience worship, activities, and quality time as a family. It’s a week of fun…with a purpose.
CABIN STYLE
Standard: Community-style bunk bed housing with shared bathrooms, OR Queen and bunk bed housing with private bathrooms. You must provide your own towels and linens.
Preferred: Queen, double, twin, and bunk beds/bathroom with full linens provided, furnished rooms, and private bathrooms.
Bed/Bath Linens: INCLUDED ONLY IN PREFERRED ACCOMMODATIONS
Restrooms & Showers: In Cabins
Parking: Parking is available at each cabin. No need to haul luggage or supplies. You can unload right at your doorstep!
